I’m Adong, the maker behind Held Stone Jewelry. I make natural stone pieces for everyday wear, personal meaning, thoughtful gifting, and the moments you want to keep close.
WHERE IT BEGAN
A worktable before a business plan.
Held Stone began with materials in front of me: a length of cord, a stone I wanted to understand, and a knot that needed to be redone.
I was learning how color could sit quietly together and how one small object could become worth wearing or giving. Over time, that practice became a rhythm I could return to.
THE PRACTICE
Handwork gave me somewhere to return to.
I have lived with a disability since childhood. Handwork did not remove every difficulty, but it gave me something concrete: choose a stone, test a color, undo a knot, and begin again.
That repetition helped me build skill and confidence through the work itself.
Not a guarantee, but a reason to keep moving.
WHY HELD STONE
Personal meaning without a promise.
A bracelet can become part of a morning routine. A charm can stay on a bag or keyring. A handmade gift can mark a new chapter or a simple thank-you.
Natural stone varies in color, pattern, texture, and translucency. I let those differences remain visible rather than asking every piece to look factory-identical.
Held Stone does not promise medical, healing, spiritual, financial, or guaranteed personal outcomes. The meaning belongs to the person who chooses the piece.
